All is Well May the Godhead of the well, Carry on all life lightly and well, While we’re in peace of thanksgiving, With love never-ending. The life that is carrying, On and on and on and on, Goes along to the river’s song, Where the ocean widens up, Bringing explorers home.     by Ben Bussewitz, MM

Altruism

All people are love. All people have love in their hearts. All people respond and act according to love. Rousseau describes the natural state of man as being a place wherein individuals aim to respond with happiness and gratitude toward other people's blessings, that is, they respond with happiness and gratitude when others do well; that is the instinctual and experientially-learned reality of all people, as it is inscribed on our very human genes from an ancient past and in the homo sapien  complexion, according to Rousseau-- being happy and grateful when others do well. Moreover, we want to give. We want to be giving helpful people. We have a natural ethos of charity. We are happy when other people are happy and free. by Ben Bussewitz MM
